  These short courses are incorporated into your 4 or 8 week Portfolio or Academy course. They are provided free of charge and a schedule for their incorporation will be discussed prior to the commencement of your course.

The PHOTOSHOP course will cover the following topics:-

Layers and layer management, type, effects, Beziere tools, file importtion and exporting, masks and alpha channels, selections, illustration technique, cloning and brush tools, 3D effects

The INDESIGN course will cover the following topics:-

All aspects of design and typography necessary fro creating brochures, magazines and books. Hyperlinks, printing and the creation of PDF files, style sheets. This course offers, in effect, essential graphic design training.

The FLASH course will cover the following topics:-

Animation, typography, buttons and interactivity, symbols and instances, morphing text and images, unique special effest

The DREAMWEAVER course will cover the following topics:-

Basic HTML design, Cascading Style Sheets, buttons and hyperlinks, incorporating images and movies, navigation and web site design and control, uploading to servers. During the course we will create a functioning web site.

The AFTER EFFECTS course will cover the following topics:-

i mporting stills and movies, layers and composition, nested compositions, advanced special effects, animation and cameras, setting the export codecs and quality, text, alpha channels and Z (depth) buffers

The FINAL CUT or PREMIERE ourse wiill cover the following topics: -

Importing DV footage. Choice of CODEC. Editting with picture and sound. Special effects. Exporting to video.

The PRO TOOLS or LOGIC course will cover the following topics (

Recording sound (live vocals and guitars), Virtual instruments. Basic Loops. Mixing. Use of plugins. Elastic audio. Comping takes
