modo is truly innovative 3D animation software. The software engineers at Luxology have come with an interface that has been constructed from the ground up- with speed and flexibility prioritised.
modo is unlike any other 3D programme. It is necessary to completely unlearn what you learnt in other 3D animation software. Its sculpting tools are superb. In fact the complete methodology is more like painting and sculpting than technical drawing.
Here at 3D3 World modo has become a firm favourite and is now the preferred modelling software over Maya.
We run a number of modo courses. There is a 5 day intensive MODO BASICS course designed to get you started in the software in a very short space of time.
Then we have the 10 day MODO ADVANCED courses which covers more complex modelling and animation.
The 20 day PORTFOLIO course is aimed at those who have little or no knowledge of Modo and need gain essential skills and develop a portfolio.
Finally for those requiring total CGI training there is the 8 week ACADEMY PROGRAMME covering all aspects of 3D animation and related software.
