From APE - Alberti, Piranesi & Escher by George Snow We run several Maya training courses. They are aimed at students of all abilities- from absolute beginner to experienced professional. Courses range from 5 days to 8 weeks. At the top end of our range there is the 8 week Academy Programme which provides complete training across a broad range of CGI software in conjunction with Maya and modo The 5 day MAYA BASICS course (also available as a 12 session evening class with two and a half hours per session) covers all the essential elementary knowledge that a newcomer needs to master in order to progress. The course will cover elementary model building, lighting, texturing and basic animation. The 10 day MAYA ADVANCED course is for those who are starting out with Maya but need to cover more advanced topics such as character animation and dynamics. The 20 day PORTFOLIO course is aimed at those who have little or no knowledge of Maya and need gain essential skills and develop a portfolio. Finally for those requiring total CGI training there is the 8 week ACADEMY PROGRAMME covering all aspects of 3D animation and related software. Training starts at 10 in the morning and finishes at 5 in the evening. There is a one hour break for lunch. Training on 5 and 10 day Basics and Advanced courses is available one-to-one or as a group course with one trainer to four students Bring your own laptop or iMac and get a 5% discount on your course fee |
