A test for the forthcoming 'APES' VR installation in the Gemeente Museum in the Hague, Netherlands

3D3 World have been awarded a number of media prizes including a special commendation at the Tokyo Video Festival' and an award by the Art Directors Club in New York. The partnership's work has recently featured by the New York based 3 by 3 magazine and in a special edition of DPI magazine entitled 'The Age of European Drawing'.

Members have taught at some of the leading colleges in Europe including the Royal College of Art in London, The Royal Danish Academy, and The Danish Design School in Copenhagen. Their clients include all the major publishing houses and record labels in Britain, the BBC, Channel 4, Cartoon Network and Adobe.

They are presently working on the 360 degree virtual reality panorama APES which is to be shown in Den Haag in 2012. The performance will be held in the Gemeente Museum and is curated by Tom van Vliet and endorsed by the Escher Museum in the Hague.

They have won several Adobe Calendar competitions and have been involved in external assessing at the Royal College of Art in London.

An early success for us was 'I've Been Thinking About You' by London Beat. Directed by George in 1990 it featured some of the earliest 3D animation to be seen on TV. The software he used was Swivel 3D and the rendering was done in PIXAR's RenderMan.

Another early hit was Jack 'n' Chill's 'The Jack That House Built. It got to number 3 in the UK charts.

We did a lot of work for the Art of Noise. 'Motorway', which was also a gallery installation shown at Video Brasil and at the Milky way in Amsterdam, was one of my favourites.
