We run 4 Maya courses. They are as follows:-
A 5 day MAYA BASICS course aimed at those who need a basic overview of the software. It covers shape creation in polygons and NURBS. Texturing, UVs, lighting, deformers, dynamics including cloth- and basic hierarchical animation. The maximum class size is 4 students to one trainer. MAYA BASICS is also available as a one-to-one course.
A 10 day MAYA ADVANCED course that covers all of the topics included in the Maya Basics course above- and follows that up with advanced subjects. They are hair, fur, fluids, oceans and ponds. 2D and 3D Paint Effects, layered shaders, deformers and the skeleton rig needed for complex character animation. The linking of deformers for facial animation. The maximum class size is 4 students to one trainer. MAYA ADVANCED is also available as a one-to-one course.
The 4 week MAYA PORTFOLIO course covers all the topics in the Maya Basics and Maya Advanced courses in the first 2 weeks. For the final 2 weeks students will be asked to create an animation using characters and sets; and output a series of shots that can be edited in Final Cut Pro to produce a finished portfolio piece.

You may even be expert in another 3D animation programme and need to make the switch to Maya. At our Italian location we provide accommodation in your own private room with en-suite bathroom, all meals and transport from and to Perugia International Airport. The cheapest flights being with Ryan Air. If you make alternative travel arrangements we’ll try to fit in with your schedule.
